Industry knowledge

EB Perfume is a fragrance brand line with "Elegance and Brilliance" as its core values, positioned in the "affordable luxury" price range between mass-market brands and high-end luxury brands. The brand's core proposition is to use carefully selected high-quality fragrance ingredients, combined with modern perfumery techniques, to create fragrances that are both stylish and suitable for everyday wear—allowing consumers to obtain a quality olfactory experience at a relatively affordable price.

In terms of fragrance composition, the EB Perfume series covers three main fragrance categories, each with its own independent SKU: floral perfumes, represented by rose, peony, and jasmine, emphasize freshness and elegance, suitable for the female consumer market; woody perfumes, with cedar, sandalwood, and amber as their framework, have a sophisticated character and are suitable for both men and women; and oriental perfumes, blending oriental spices and resinous base notes, offer rich layers and long-lasting fragrance, suitable for consumers seeking individuality and distinctiveness.

Application Scenarios

  • Boutique Stores/Fragrance Specialty Channels

Independent fragrance boutiques or department store sections require mid-to-high-end products with stylish designs and unique scents. The EB series' packaging quality and the breadth of its three fragrance notes meet diverse display needs.

  • High-End Festive Gifts/Business Souvenirs

Corporate annual meetings, holiday gifts, and customer appreciation events require gifts with exquisite appearance and high-quality scents. The EB series' elegant gift boxes and oriental/woody notes perfectly match the demands of high-end gifting.

  • Cross-Border Distribution in Diverse Markets

The EB series, with its floral, woody, and oriental notes, caters to diverse cultural markets, making it suitable for distributors covering multiple regions including Europe, Southeast Asia, North America, and the Middle East for cross-market expansion.

  • Beauty Collection Store Upgrade Selection

Beauty collection stores that previously focused on mass-market products are looking to introduce products in the affordable luxury price range to increase average transaction value. The EB series' visual appeal and fragrance quality make it a suitable choice for this channel's upgrade.

  • New Brand Launch/Testing

Entrepreneurs interested in establishing an independent perfume brand but still in the testing phase can leverage EB's existing SKUs for small-batch trial sales. Market data can then be used to validate fragrance preferences before deciding whether to invest in OEM customization.

Why Choose the EB Perfume Series?

  • Three fragrance families coexist, covering multiple product categories in one collaboration

Floral, woody, and oriental perfumes each have independent SKUs within the EB series. Buyers can select products from all three categories simultaneously, forming a fragrance matrix without needing to deal with multiple suppliers.

  • High Match Between Packaging Quality and Price Range

The bottle design and exquisite packaging of the EB series achieve a light luxury visual standard. No additional "packaging upgrade" investment is needed at the retail level, allowing buyers to sell directly at a reasonable premium, maintaining a healthy profit margin.

  • High-quality raw materials, stable fragrance performance

The EB series formula uses carefully selected premium fragrance raw materials. Each SKU undergoes quality control to ensure fragrance stability and batch consistency, avoiding customer complaints due to fragrance deviations during the sales cycle.

OEM Capabilities

The EB Perfume series fully supports both OEM and ODM cooperation models, making it particularly suitable for buyers who wish to establish an independent brand in the affordable luxury price range.

Under the OEM model, the buyer provides brand identity, packaging design documents, and fragrance requirements (e.g., "leaning towards a floral scent, requiring a fresh and not overly sweet"). We handle formula formulation, filling, and finished product delivery.

Under the ODM model, the buyer only needs to provide target market positioning and budget range. We lead the entire process from fragrance development, bottle selection, packaging design, to filling, delivering a complete product under the buyer's brand.

Regarding the positioning of the EB series, our perfumery team focuses on the distinctiveness and cleanliness of the top notes when developing floral perfume formulas; the development of woody perfumes prioritizes the longevity and skin-friendliness of the base notes; The formulation of oriental perfumes involves meticulous balancing of the proportions of fragrances and resins to avoid being too heavy and affecting everyday wearability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both EB Perfume and EBC Perfume are under the Xianglan brand, so what are the substantial differences in their positioning?

The core difference lies in their target price range and channel positioning. The EBC series targets the mass consumer market, prioritizing cost control in the selection of fragrance raw materials and packaging technology, with retail pricing typically in the affordable range. The EB series, on the other hand, is a step up, using higher-quality fragrance raw materials, and its bottle and packaging design and craftsmanship achieve a light luxury visual standard, suitable for boutiques, mid-to-high-end e-commerce, and gift channels. For buyers, choosing EBC is about volume sales, while choosing EB is about profit margins and brand image.

How long does the scent last in the EB series perfumes?

The EB series primarily features EDP concentrations (15–20% essential oils), with a typical lasting effect of 6–10 hours on the skin, depending on skin type, application site, and ambient temperature and humidity. Oriental perfumes, due to their higher resin and woody base notes, generally last longer than floral perfumes at the same concentration, with longer middle and base notes. We do not make absolute guarantees regarding specific lasting power; however, evaporation test data can be provided during the sample stage.
