Industry knowledge

Perfume filling refers to the complete process of filling pre-mixed fragrance compounds into perfume bottles at a predetermined concentration, followed by sealing, nozzle installation, and packaging. This is the core production step in perfume production, from formulation to finished product.

The filling concentration determines the product type: Parfum (fragrance oil, ≥20%), Eau de Parfum (15–20%), and Eau de Toilette (5–15%) can all be produced using the filling line. Our equipment is compatible with alcohol-based, water-based, and alcohol-free oil-based formulations.

Application Scenarios

  • Retail Private Label Brands: Chain supermarkets, boutiques, and e-commerce sellers establishing their own perfume product lines require one-stop delivery of finished product filling and labeling.
  • Customized Holiday Gifts: For Christmas, Valentine's Day, and corporate gift occasions, customers procure long-lasting perfume products and require customized gift box packaging.
  • Luxury/Niche Perfume Line: Small-batch, high-concentration perfumes to meet the flexible production needs of independent designer brands and niche perfume lines.
  • Brand Replenishment/Distribution: Distributors with established brands requiring stable bottling capacity to support quarterly inventory preparation and channel replenishment, with controllable delivery cycles.
  • Hotels/Clubs: Customized scent labels for lobby sprays or mini-sized perfumes in guest rooms, typically sourcing eau de parfum.

Reasons for Purchasing: Why Choose Our Bottled Perfumes

  • Full Concentration Coverage, Flexible Formulas

Supports bottling in multiple concentrations including EDT/EDP/Parfum. We also accept customer-provided formulas (BYOF) or have our fragrance team assist in development, meeting a full range of needs from mass-market everyday fragrances to niche niche perfumes.

  • Long-lasting fragrance technology support

For long-lasting perfume needs, we can extend fragrance duration to 8–12 hours by using high-quality fragrance raw materials (such as musk, amber base, and Iso E Super) and skin-feeling fragrance carrier formulations, and provide laboratory-issued evaporation test data.

  • High filling accuracy and batch stability

Automated filling equipment supports ±0.3g precision control, ensuring acceptable variation in fragrance stability between batches of the same formula, suitable for continuous stocking by retail and brands.

  • Supply chain integration capabilities

We provide one-stop procurement of perfume bottles, pump heads, aluminum casings, color boxes, and outer packaging boxes, reducing the cost of multiple intermediaries for buyers, especially suitable for integrated management by small and medium-sized brands.

Customizable projects

From formulation to final packaging, every step can be customized according to the buyer's brand needs. The following are the main customizable dimensions:

  • Fragrance direction

Floral, oriental woody, fresh citrus, marine, gourmand, etc. Fragrance briefs can be provided to assist in the targeted development of high-concentration perfume formulations.

  • Concentration and Ratio

Within the EDP or Parfum range, the essential oil ratio can be precisely adjusted to achieve the target longevity and opening intensity of the fragrance.

  • Bottle Shape and Pump Head

Custom mold opening is supported (minimum mold fee required), or you can choose from our existing bottle shape library, with matching gold/silver/black pump heads.

  • Label and Printing

Supports various processes such as hot stamping, matte, glossy, embossing, and debossing, with precise color matching according to Pantone color codes.

  • Customized Packaging

Custom die-cutting is available for single-item boxes, gift sets, and cardboard tubes, supporting full-color printing, specialty paper, and environmentally friendly materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Filling Perfume and directly purchasing finished perfumes?

Purchasing finished perfumes involves buying existing branded products; Filling Perfume involves custom production according to the buyer's formula or agreed-upon formula, producing exclusive products with the buyer's brand. Suitable for buyers who want to establish their own brand, differentiate themselves from competitors, or control the intellectual property rights of their formula.

If I don't have a formula, can you help me develop one?

Yes. Our perfumery team can develop a formula based on the scent references you provide (competitive perfume names, scent descriptions, target audience). We typically provide 2-3 initial draft samples for selection and confirmation. Once the formula is developed, it belongs to the buyer.
